Yarrow

Bitter, aromatic, one of the older herbs in the cabinet.

Achillea is bitter, aromatic, and one of the older entries in any working herbal cabinet. We forage from a small unimproved hill outside Castlemaine in late summer. Drink it short, four minutes only, or it turns sharp.

A bitter herb, softened on the tray by our mullein leaf, calendula.
