Tasmanian English lavender, dried slow, perfumed and soft.
Lavandula angustifolia, grown in a small commercial plot in the Tasmanian midlands. The buds are dried slow at low temperature so the volatile oils stay in the flower rather than the warehouse. A small pinch is enough for a pot. Pairs well with chamomile, or with a half-teaspoon of honey if you are headed for sleep.
It blends beautifully with our Camille, rose petal, which is how most of the bench drinks it.
